Congratulations to our 2016 Marco Cabrera Student Research Award Recipients:
Each application was reviewed independently by two members of the NASPEM Board and this resulted in awards going to the three highest ranked applications (in alphabetical order):
1. Kimberly Clevenger from Michigan State University - Characterizing preschoolers’ school day activity: development of a novel methodology; Dr Karin Pfeiffer is Kimberly’s research supervisor.
2. Sara King-Dowling from McMaster University - The impact of motor proficiency on physical activity in children with a chronic disease; Professor John Cairney is Sara’s research supervisor.
3. Ryan Simair from the University of British Columbia - Assessment of hysteresis in the cerebral pressure-flow relationship: a comparison of children and adults; Dr Ali McManus is Ryan’s research supervisor.
